Racing this Weekend April 27-28 at Rock Falls Raceway -- Test Day, SNS & Bracket Drag Race -- $1000 to Win

Hello Everyone --�

Wow, can you believe it.� It is already the END of April and we are just getting our drag racing season underway due to Mother Nature and her very poor attitude this winter and spring!!� Somebody really ticked her off!!� I am SICK to death of the snow and cold and am very ready for the spring temps and eventually green scenery�BUT especially those green lights on the xmas tree!!��It's been a VERY LONG winter and I am sure you all know what I mean by that. But be rest assured, the track looks good and the pits are free of snow and dry and are ready for our drag racers!! We did NOT get the amounts of snow that areas North and West of us received these last couple of weeks. We are good to go!!

�

The WEATHER for this�weekend looks SPECTACULAR!!��They are saying 68 & Sunny for Saturday and 73 and Sunny for Sunday!!� Who doesn't like that kind of weather???��

�

Rock Falls Raceway� has a�great opening�weekend (April 27-28) of drag racing in store for everyone!!��It's our�1st Bracket Race (for points)�of the 2013 Season.� Just remember, Bracket Races are Open to ALL Racers!!� We hope you'll be able to join us whether it's coming out to race or just to watch!!

�Here's what's on the schedule for this weekend:

Saturday, April�27 --�Test Day, Chassis�Certification�& Sat. Nite Special�

Gates Open at 7:30 a.m.

Test Day Starts at 9 a.m. and Runs�until 3:30 p.m.

Chassis Certification:� 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. -- MUST Contact Jennifer to get your name on the list whether its for re-certification or the first time.� This will be on a first come, first serve basis.� Chassis Tag Fee paid directly to NHRA at the time of the certification is $150.�� Jennifer can be reached at jennifer@rockfallsraceway.com or (715) 858-0170.

Test Day Cost:� Please read for Explanation!!�� $69 + $10�= $79/Car�& Driver�� $10 + $10�=�$20/Per Crew
Because we consider the Saturday Test Day/Sunday Bracket Race a 2-day event, we charge for a 2-day armband on Saturday for EVERYONE who comes in the gate.� Now, if you are NOT staying or planning to come back for the Sunday Bracket Race, when you leave on Saturday, you turn your armband back in at the front gate where you got them and you will get $10 back on the armband.� As such, the Test Day then still only costs you $69 for Car/Driver and Crew is still $10/each.� Again, you do get your money back for the armband as long as you stop and turn it in.� You cannot keep the armband until the next time and say "oh I forgot to turn this in".� That will not work.� It must be turned in when you leave on Saturday, NO ex ceptions!!� Its really that easy.

Gamblers Race for anyone who is Testing at approx. 2 p.m. -- $30 to enter (This is optional but for Testers Only)!!

Saturday Nite Special --�3:30 p.m.� -- �One time run and then right in to eliminations.� If you've been testing it's just $30 to enter.� If you have not, you can still race it's just $49 to enter.��Box and No Box vehicles are separated until the total field reaches 16 or less at which time they�are combined on a ladder for the final rounds of competition.� Payout is $500/Win;�$200/RU and $100/Semis for 33 cars or more 1st Rd.� (If 32 cars or less in 1st rd. payout reverts to Gambler's Format).�

Also, if you're planning to attend 5 or more Test Days throughout the 2013 racing season, think about purchasing the 5/$250!!� See Jennifer for details.� Its a $95 Savings!� Packages are for 1 person only and CANNOT be split among 2 or more people!!

Sunday, April�28 -- Bracket Drag�Race -- $1000 to Win�

OPEN TO ALL RACERS!!!

Gates Open at 7:00 a.m.

Time Trials at 8:30 a.m.

Eliminations at�12:00 p.m. approx.

Come out and race in Street Eliminator, King of the Hill or the Sport Compact Class.� Win 2 rounds and win a trophy!!�� $40/Entry.

Race in Super Pro or Pro ET Money Class -- $1000 to Win!!� Payout starts 3rd Rd.�

High Noon Gamblers and No Gizmo Gambler Races held in the morning for all Money Car Racers.� We also have our Run for the Money in the morning as well as our�Guts Gambler Race in the afternoon.� Guts Gambler is for anyone in Pro or Super Pro who loses 1st or 2nd round of regular eliminations.� Just $20/Entry.

Trophy Cars -- We will also have the Run for the Money in the morning along with the Last Chance Eliminator Race held after 2nd round of regular eliminations.� This is for anyone who loses 1st or 2nd round of regular eliminations in Street, King or Sport Compacts.� Just $10/Entry.

Rock Falls Raceway - ALL Events CANCELLED for this Weekend Sat/Sun April 20-21

Due to the wet, rainy, snowy weather as well as the cold (below average temps) Rock Falls Raceway has unfortunately CANCELLED ALL Events for this Weekend, Sat/Sun April 20-21!! �Please read below for further info.

�

The Test Day and Chassis Certification scheduled for this Sat. April 20 has once again been CANCELLED !!� We will be pushing the Chassis Certification out to the following Sat. April 27 during the Test Day.� Sat. April 27 Gates will open at 7:30 a.m., Chassis Cert from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Test Day from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Sat. Nite Special at 3:30 p.m.� Our 1st Bracket Drag Race of the season will be held on Sun. April 28.

�

Please also be advised that the Sport Compact Race scheduled for Sun April 21 has also been CANCELLED !!� We will however be adding a Special Sport Compact Class to our Sat. May 11 Fun Race.� Entry will still be $40.� Sport Compacts are also welcome to attend our Test Days and regular Bracket Race Days.� For further information check out the website.� The next scheduled Sport Compact Race is on Sunday, July 21.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience but Mother Nature is being VERY uncooperative and she is out of control!!� Let's hope for better weather for next weekend!!� Thank you.

Rock Falls Raceway 2012 Champions Banquet -- Sat. January 19, 2013

Happy New Year from Rock Falls Raceway!!!

Well 2013 is here and before you know it the gates at Rock Falls Raceway will open once again for another exciting year of drag racing.� But before that can happen we need to honor our 2012 Champions as well as the other top finishers!!

Rock Falls Raceway cordially invites you to�the 2012 Champions Awards Banquet on Saturday, January 19, 2013, at The Plaza Hotel & Suites (same place as last year) located at 1202 West Clairemont Avenue in Eau Claire, WI.� The schedule for the evening is as follows:

Cocktails (Cash Bar)�at 6:00 p.m.

Buffet Dinner at 7:00 p.m.

Awards Program at 8:00 p.m.

Cost to attend is $30 per person.� Please contact Jennifer Anderson at (715) 858-0170 if you are interested in attending.� We will need to receive your check for�$30 x the # of people attending�no later than Monday,�January 14, 2013, in order to reserve your seat(s) at the banquet.� NO tickets will be sold at the door.� Reservations MUST BE MADE PRIOR to the banquet.� Checks can be made out to Rock Falls Raceway and mailed to: P.O. Box 326, Elk Mound, WI 54739.

FRIDAY, October 12 Update:�

Please be advised that the Bonanza Race scheduled for tomorrow, Sat. October 13 has been POSTPONED to Sun., October 14.

The postponement is due to the weather forecast of 70-80% chance of rain for tomorrow, Sat Oct. 13.� The weather forecast for Sunday, October 14 looks to be MUCH MUCH better with only a 10% chance of any precip and a.m. clouds w/ p.m. sun and highs in the upper 50s!!� As such, we will push the race out one day and proceed as planned with the Bonanza Race, Gamblers Races and RFR Racer Appreciation Race on Sunday, October 14!!

Race for Trophies in Street Eliminator (13.00 & Slower) or King of the Hill (12.99 and Quicker) -- Trophy Special -- Win 2 Rd. in Street or King and Win a Trophy!! Entry Fee -- $40
Race for Money in our Money Combo (Super Pro and Pro ET Classes) -- Payout is $750/Win; $300/RU and $125/Semis. Box and No Box Cars are separated until the total field reaches 16 or less at which time they are combined on a ladder for the final rounds of competition. Entry Fee -- $60
FREE Consolation Race to anyone who loses 1st or 2nd round of their eliminator. Pays $100/Win; $50/RU and final 4 receive trophies!
We will also run Gambler Races (a Box and No Box Gamblers) -- $50/Entry as well as our Run for the Money -- $5/Trophy Cars or $10/Money Cars.
RFR Member Appreciation Race -- This is a special race being held at the Bonanza Race but is only for RFR Gold Rush Points Members who have attended at least 8 of 11 bracket points races in the 2012 race season. Racers in each of the respective classes (Super Pro, Pro ET, King and Street) will race off amongst each other in their class, until 1 racer remains in each of these classes. The two money class winners (Super Pro and Pro ET) will then race off for $1000/Win; $400/RU. The two trophy class winners (King and Street) will then race off for $200/Win; $100/RU. A list of eligible racers will be placed on the home page of the Rock Falls Raceway website, so if you're not sure if you've qualified, check it out!!
Just $10 to Watch any day!!

Hello Everyone -- Rock Falls Raceway� has a huge weekend of drag racing in store for everyone!! We hope you'll be able to join us whether it's coming out to race or just to watch!!

�

We have a couple of special programs going on this weekend that you won't want to miss, so again we hope you'll attend. Weather is supposed to be outstanding!!

�

First before I get to the details of the weekend, I have an announcement:

�

E.T. FINALS -- The Division 5 E.T. Finals is just around the corner. It will take place in Topeka, KS the weekend of September 14-16. If you are interested in attending on behalf of Team Rock Falls Raceway, the signup sheet is located at the Souvenir Window of the Concession Stand where you normally purchase your tech cards. Now, in order to be able to attend and participate in the E.T. Finals you MUST be a member of Team Rock Falls and a member of our Gold Rush Points Standings. Also anyone who attends on behalf of any Division 5 Race Track MUST have ATTENDED at least 2 points races during the course of the 2012 race season, NO EXCEPTIONS. So, if you have not attended at least 2 points races yet but are interested in going to the E.T. Finals, you have 2 races this month in which to get those in. The team will be set after the last Bracket Race in August (the 26th) based on points totals. The Race of Champions spots for each class wil l also be determined after the last Bracket Race in August as that will be the last bracket event BEFORE the ET Finals. Tech: 2:15 p.m.
Qualifying Sessions: 2:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.

Sunday, August�12 --�The Dan Drevnick Memorial Bracket Drag�Race -- $1000 to Win w/ additional Winner & Runner-Up Payout in Spro, Pro, King and Street

Open to ALL Racers !!!
Gates Open at 7:00 a.m.
Time Trials at 8:30 a.m.
Eliminations at�12:00 p.m.
Dan Drevnick Memorial Race -- This Sunday's Drag Race is in honor of a fallen soldier and a fellow drag racing friend of Rock Falls Raceway.� SPC Dan Drevnick lost his life in the war in Iraq in July of 2009.� His father Ken Drevnick is also a veteran�racer here at Rock Falls.� On Sunday, we will remember SPC Dan Drevnick, to honor him for his service to our country and the freedoms we continue to fight for and retain.
In honor of his son, Dan, Ken has graciously decided to donate Bonus Bucks in all 4 Categories at Sunday's Race (including Super Pro, Pro ET, King of the Hill & Street Eliminator). Super Pro & Pro ET Winners will receive an additional $150 with Runner's Up receiving $75. King of the Hill & Street Eliminators Winners will receive $100 and Runner's Up will receive $50.

Hello Everyone --� Looks like we are in for a great weekend of weather for drag racing, and most importantly, the "r" word�is not in that forecast and great temps in the low 80s is in the forecast as well.� Yippee.... sounds like a real relief from the excessive heat we've had to endure in the last month or so.

Rock Falls Raceway� has a�huge weekend of drag racing in store for everyone!!��We hope you'll be able to join us whether it's coming out to race or just to watch!!

Here's what's on the schedule for this weekend:

Saturday, July�28 --��Test Day, Jr. Dragsters�& Sat. Nite Special�

Gates Open at 7:30 a.m.
Test Day Starts at 9 a.m. and Runs until 3:30 p.m.
Cost: Please read for Explanation!! $69 + $10 = $79/Car & Driver $10 + $10 = $20/Per Crew

Because we consider the Saturday Test Day/Sunday Bracket Race a 2-day event, we charge for a 2-day armband on Saturday for EVERYONE who comes in the gate. Now, if you are NOT staying or planning to come back for the Sunday Bracket Race, when you leave on Saturday, you turn your armband back in at the front gate where you got them and you will get $10 back on the armband. As such, the Test Day then still only costs you $69 for Car/Driver and Crew is still $10/each. Again, you do get your money back for the armband as long as you stop and turn it in. You cannot keep the armband until the next time and say "oh I forgot to turn this in". That will not work. It must be turned in when you leave on Saturday, NO e xceptions!! Its really that easy.
Gamblers Race for anyone who is Testing at approx. 2 p.m. -- $30 to enter (This is optional but for Testers Only)!!
Jr. Dragsters -- 2 Age Groups -- Jr. Major - Ages 8-12 and Jr. Advanced - Ages 13-17!!

Jr. Dragster Testing -- Make a pass down the track at 12 noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. -- Just $30 for Car/Driver. $10/Crew.

Jr. Dragster Race: Sponsored by Caspers Auto Repair in 2012!! ($30 Entry for Car/Driver; Crew/$5 for age 8 & older)
Schedule is as follows:
Tech: 2:15 p.m.
Qualifying Sessions: 2:45 p.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Round 1 Eliminations: 4 p.m.

Free Consolation Race for any Jr. driver who loses 1st round of competition. All ages combined for Consolation Race.
Saturday Nite Special -- 3:30 p.m. -- One time run and then right in to eliminations. If you've been testing it's just $30 to enter. If you have not, you can still race it's just $49 to enter. Box and No Box vehicles are separated until the total field reaches 16 or less at which time they are combined on a ladder for the final rounds of competition. Payout is $500/Win; $200/RU and $100/Semis for 33 cars or more 1st Rd. (If 32 cars or less in 1st rd. payout reverts to Gambler's Format).

Hello Everyone --� Well the weekend is just a short 5 days away and so far the weather looks to be dry and warm (remember this is summer)�but�NOT anywhere�as warm as it was last week!!� Thank God!!

Rock Falls Raceway� has a�HUGE weekend of drag racing in store for everyone and it should be one heck of a spectacular weekend�for drag racing!!��We hope you'll be able to join us whether it's coming out to race or just to watch!!� If you are coming out to watch, this would be the weekend to do so!!� I suspect that we will have a large number of vehicles and those should include dragsters, roadsters, door slammers, muscle cars, motorcycles and snowmobiles.�

WHY you might ask??? �Well because Rock Falls Raceway has a 2-day Big Dollar Bracket Race (Presented by 101 Transport and Bay & Bay Transportation) with $5000 to win on Saturday, July 14�and $2000 to win on Sunday, July 15!!� And we're hoping that all of the racers from the WI, MN and IA areas come out and support the event!! It should be loads of fun!!� Great Entry Fee, Great Round Money and Great Payout overall!!

So here's what's on the schedule for this coming weekend July 14-15:

Friday, July 13 -- Pit Side Parking from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m.� (If you arrive AFTER 9 p.m. you will have to park on the spectator side until gates open on Saturday morning at 7 a.m.)

Saturday, July 14�--��Short Test Day, Jr. Dragsters�& Big $5K to Win Bracket Race�

Gates Open at 7:00 a.m.
Test Day Starts at�8:30 a.m. and Runs until�1 p.m.� Lanes will close at 12:45 and we will run out the tester vehicles in the lanes.�
Test Day Cost: Please read for Explanation!! $54 + $10 = $64/Car & Driver�� $15 + $10 = $25/Per Crew� �(Sat. July 14 armbands are $15 instead of $10 because of the Big $$ Bracket Race which is taking place.� (If you are leaving directly after the Test Day and NOT staying to participate or watch in the Big Dollar Bracket Race, we will refund you $15 instead of the normal $10 but you must leave the track by 2 p.m. otherwise after that only $10 will be refunded.)

BIG Dollar $5K Bracket Race -- Time Trials (2 are scheduled) will start at 1 p.m.� We will start with No Box and then go to Box.� We will complete 1 full session and then start over from the beginning.� After the conclusion of the Time Trials we will start with Round 1 of Eliminations and we will start with No Box first, followed by Box.� The Big $$ Bracket Bash will run in conjunction with the Jr. Dragster program so we will be alternating between the two programs.� (Remember, as always,�schedule may be adjusted, if needed, due to extenuating circumstances.)
Entry Fee for 2-day Big $$ Bracket Race is $215.� Crew is $25 for 2-days.� (Saturday Only Race Entry is $175 for $5000 to Win).
Jr. Dragsters -- 2 Age Groups -- Jr. Major - Ages 8-12 and Jr. Advanced - Ages 13-17!!

ALL JR. DRAGSTER CREW ON SAT. JULY 14 WILL BE CHARGED $10/PER PERSON no matter if�you are testing and racing or just racing!!
