Showcasing a variety of muscle cars, motorcycles, and Jr Dragster competition, Muscle Car Restorations Dragfest is a six race series points earning series with racers battling for event and season championships!
Racers will compete across five different categories for championship honors.
MCR Advanced: Follows the same rules as Pro and Super Pro, no ET Restriction
MCR Intermediate: Follows the same rules as Street Eliminator, no ET Restriction
MCR Novice: Follows the same rules as Street Eliminator, for drivers with little no to experience
in bracket racing, no ET restriction
MCR Bike/Sled: Follows the same rules as Bike/Sled category, no ET Restriction
MCR Jr Dragster: One category for all Jr competitors
SCHEDULE:

Gates open at 8 am
- Time trials start at 10am on Saturday, 9am on Sunday​​

Eliminations to follow time trials

Gambler's Race time and buy-in to be determined on race day.

GENERAL RULES:
-
All drivers must have a valid state issued driver's license or current NHRA license.

All drivers (and passengers if applicable) must wear an NHRA approved helmet. Helmets are available for rent in Registration, located on the south side of the drag tower.

Racing Jackets and Pants are also available for rent in Registration, located on the south side of the drag tower.

For drivers under the age of 18, a MINOR RELEASE must be obtained and signed by your parents/guardians for the 2024 racing season. No one under the age of 18 will be allowed to go down the race track until an original signed release has been submitted to Rock Falls Raceway.

No passengers permitted during bracket race events.

All race vehicles must go through and pass NHRA based tech. If vehicle does not pass tech inspection, tech card fee will be refunded to driver in the form of a credit to future Rock Falls Raceway events. This credit is valid until the end of the following racing season.

Please post dial-ins and car numbers on the passenger side of front, side, and rear of vehicle.

Once cars have been called to the staging lanes, absolutely no warming up on the return roads.

Auxiliary Pit Vehicles (golf carts, pit bikes, etc.) please park in Lane 8 or in the dashed (///) lines near the starting line.

No glass bottles allowed.

There will be a dial-your-own bracket category available to all contestants who purchase tech card, trophy awarded to winner and runner-up in each category.​

Second chance race for competitors who don't win round one available, information provided day of event
EQUIPMENT NOTE:

Long pants and sleeved shirts are required - no shorts, nylon pants, or tank tops.

Closed toe shoes are required - no sandals, flip-flops, or crocs allowed.

Seatbelts required in all vehicles.

NOTE: Fee applies to vehicles with sleeping units. For racers attending, there is no fee for the first sleeping unit.​
