Championships Claimed in Muscle Car Restorations Dragfest Series

Congratulations to the five racers who earned championships in the inaugural Muscle Car R

estorations Dragfest Series! Battling across six races in this ‘mini series’ event, season victories were scored by Mikey Amos (Advanced), Myah Smith (Intermediate), Jocelyn Millage (Novice), David Johnson (Motorcycle), and Ellie Linderg (Jr Dragster).

Mikey Amos, the 19 year old from Chisago City MN, piloted his 2003 Chevrolet truck to three final round appearances and two victories. This held off over second place Chad Lindberg and third place John Hatfield.

At just 21 years old, Myah Smith of Weston WI took her 2003 Mustang to three final rounds with one victory. Her 13 round wins over just six races were enough to hold off Jamie Kaeding and Cory Hanson.

Jocelyn Millage, Bethel MN, took the skills she had learned from her family and honed in the Jr Dragster category to secure the Novice Championship in her 2006 Magnum.

David Johnson’s trusty 2003 Custom chopper to two victories in the Motorcycle category to bring the championship back home to Otsego MN.

Finally, in the Jr Dragster category, it was Ellie Lindberg of Linstrom MN, who held off the fury of siblings Keegan and Jocelyn Millage to earn the championship in the Jr Dragster category by just one point!
