Skylar Bremer Scores Jr Street Championship 

In one of the closer competitions through the season, Skylar Bremer claimed the 2025 Rock Falls Raceway Jr Street Championship.

Entering the final event of the season, Skylar, Red Wing MN, found herself two points out of the championship lead. Focusing on one round at a time, she watched as the incoming points leader (Ellie Lindberg) went down in defeat in round two.  Thankfully for Bremer, her qualifying skills left her the bye in the quarterfinals, allowing her to stage up and secure the championship.

Bremer has been competing for 8 years in Jr Dragsters, the last two of which include Jr Street.  When asked about her favorite thing in racing, she was adamant with her answer. “By far my favorite thing about racing is the people I have met.  It’s like a big family at the track, and the friends I’ve made is so cool.  Of course, winning is a lot of fun too!” Right you are, Skylar!

At the Summit Racing Equipment ET Finals, Skylar represented RFR’s Jr Street contingent in the Race of Champions competition. While she didn’t come home with the Wally, she said that competing in the race was one of the highlights of her season. “We spend all season long competing against each other, but at the ET Finals we’re racing as a team.  It was so cool to look up in the grandstands and see everyone cheering for me, and likewise me going to the grandstands to cheer everyone on.”

Outside of racing, Skylar can be found attending local hockey games and working at the pool at the front counter and slide patrol. While she doesn’t have any bigger aspirations for her future in racing, she’s excited to do anything that lets her go fast!

Skylar was quick to thank a host of people that help her get to the track and go fast. “I really want to thank Berghammer Tire & Auto and Schultz Crete for their support. Also, I couldn’t get to the track without my mom, dad, sister, grandpa and grandma, cousin Nolan, and all my racing friends I’ve made along the way!” We couldn’t have said it better ourselves Skylar!
