In an extraordinary feat, Dusty Winrich of Cornell WI recorded season championship finishes in the Pro ET and Super Pro category at Rock Falls Raceway this season.  While many drivers have ‘doubled up’ in the past, to do it in these two categories is unheard-of before.  Dusty’s late season performance throughout the year had him comfortably ahead in both categories going into the last event. Through the season, he recorded an event win across three final round appearances, and amassed with an incredible FOURTY NINE win lights.  Congratulations Dusty!

A racer since 2017, Winrich has found a home in his trusty truck.  “I don’t know really what it is, but me and this truck have found the sweet spot,” said Winrich. “I feel confident in it running the number, and that lets me focus on cutting great reaction times!” We’ll say you got that figured out sir!

Dusty’s season, while capped with the two championships, held many more memories for the racer. “Oh man, where do I start! Winning the Wally in Pro at the NHRA.tv Challenge was an absolute blessing.  Really turning on any win light is a great feeling. Getting to the annual awards banquet and being voted as Driver of the Year was incredible. Honestly the best part for me is being able to race with my family. Watching my sons (Shaun and Brandon) race with me is such a rewarding feeling. It makes me proud to race with them and guide them to being successful.”

When he isn’t racing his way into the Mid-West Family of Eau Claire Winner’s Circle, Dusty operates A&D Docks and Service! Finding joy in working with folks who need docks or lifts installed, and regularly serviced keeps him busy throughout the year. When he isn’t assisting the over 500 customers they have, Dusty enjoys time with his kids and grandkids hunting and fishing during the offseason.

Dusty had many thanks for God and all of His blessings, his wife Angie and his family, A&D Docks, Shawn and Suzie Anderson, the Rock Falls Raceway staff, as well as a long list of racing friends who support him.  “The great thing about drag racing is everyone is here to help.  No matter what your problem is off track, everybody will jump in to fix whatever needs fixed so you can make a pass.  That’s what it’s all about, is the family atmosphere that you don’t seem to find anywhere outside of drag racing.”

Congratulations to your 2024 Rock Falls Raceway Pro ET AND Super Pro Champion, Dusty Winrich!
