EAU CLAIRE, WISC - For the second straight year, Rock Falls Raceway and the Midwest Class Racers are proud to announce a sizeable donation raised for Eau Claire-based charity Joshua's Camp.
The 8th annual CTech Badger Classic, presented by CTech Manufacturing, raised a total of $33,390 on June 16-18 at The Rock. This brings the two-year total donation to $68,580.
"Words can't express what this fundraiser does for us," said Joshua's Camp Director Wendy Carey. "It's probably the largest donation we receive from community support here in the Chippewa Valley. We can do some amazing things with that amount of money."
Joshua's Camp provides retreat opportunities for families that have a child being treated for cancer or families who have lost a child to a terminal illness. The organization relies heavily on community donations to conduct their good works, and the numerous planning organizations and sponsors for the CTech Badger Classic have been proud to step up to help.
"Our programs are almost 100% funded through community support," said Carey. "To receive a donation like this is vital to our programs continuing."
Joshua's Camp has been proudly providing retreat opportunities since 2012. To learn more about their organization or to get involved, visit joshuascamp.org.
None of this would be possible without the support of every sponsor, spectator, and racing participant in the CTech Badger Classic. We at Rock Falls Raceway thank everyone involved for their continued support of this event.
Stay tuned for announcements for the 9th annual CTech Badger Classic in 2024!
